From 1 April this year, the SHDC will no longer accept cash or cheque payments at their offices or by post: this will give them an extra £35,00 each year to spend on frontline services. Those residents who would like to continue paying their Council Tax by cash or cheque can still do so by taking their bill and method of payment to their local Post Office or PayPoint.
To find a local branch visit the Post Office, or see the Post Office or PayPoint
website and type in your post code. You will then be given a map showing you
all of the locations where you can pay. All you need is your Council Tax bill,
the piece with the barcode on, and your method of payment.
For information on how to pay your Council Tax visit South Hams District Council or visit Pay Point or Post Office Branch Finder
